What is your schedule and how long are the sessions?

Do you offer online therapy?
Yes, I offer online therapy services if it’s appropriate. Please contact to inquire more information.
Do you accept insurance?
I am currently not contracted with any insurance panel, but if you have PPO out-of-network benefits, I would be happy to provide you with a superbill, which you can submit for reimbursement.
I chose not to be on the insurance panels for number of reasons. I believe there are too many risks and drawbacks when using insurance in therapy. In order to use your medical insurance coverage, you must be given a mental disorder diagnosis which will go into your permanent medical records. This may complicate issues later when you might be asked “have you ever been diagnosed with a mental illness?” on a job application, or a life or health insurance application.
I want to protect your confidentiality, maintain the integrity of your therapeutic goals and relationships, and not pathologize your situation. I want to work on the issues that are important to you, not what the insurance company believes is best for you, which often happens when you receive therapy services through your insurance coverage.
Sliding Scale/Scholarship Options
I provide a number of sliding scale/scholarship slots to clients who are in financial needs upon availability.
If I am not able to accommodate your needs, I can also provide referrals to other affordable therapy services in the area.
